1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SPLINTR (“the App”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. YouTube Terms of Service

SPLINTR uses the YouTube Data API v3. By using any feature of SPLINTR that interacts with YouTube — including viewing liked videos, managing subscriptions, or creating playlists — you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

SPLINTR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC. YouTube is a trademark of Google LLC.

3. Use of the App

You agree not to use SPLINTR to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to circumvent YouTube's rate limits or terms of service
• Download, copy, or redistribute YouTube video files
• Use the App for unauthorized commercial scraping of YouTube data

4. Playlist Publishing Credits

To ensure fair use of YouTube API quota, each SPLINTR account is limited to publishing one playlist to YouTube per 24-hour rolling window.

This limit applies to the “Publish to YouTube” action that creates a new YouTube playlist in your account. Viewing, rating, and curating playlists within SPLINTR are not affected by this limit.

5. YouTube Data & OAuth Access

When you sign in with Google, SPLINTR requests permission to read your YouTube liked videos, subscriptions, and playlists, and to create playlists on your behalf.

You can revoke this access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

SPLINTR does not download, store, or redistribute YouTube video content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

SPLINTR is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of search results, or availability of any YouTube content. YouTube API availability is outside our control.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SPLINTR and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App or any interruption to YouTube API access.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of SPLINTR after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
